Getting to Vienne and its surroundings

This area is ideally located at only 30 km frome Lyon. Indeed, it is surrounded by the Alps and the Jura mountain ranges on the east side and the charm of Provence south and west with the counties of Drôme and Ardèche. Near by the motorway A7, Vienne is a gateway to the sun and more. 

By air

Lyon Saint-Exupéry International Airport is the best way to reach Vienne by plane.

Once you're at Lyon Airport, you can rent a car or take the "Rhônexpress" shuttle to Lyon Part-Dieu station (duration: 30 mn, every 15 mn) and then continue your journey to Vienne by train.

Near Vienne, you can also land to Grenoble airport or Saint-Etienne airport.

By rail

The train is a great way to reach Vienne, from Lyon, Paris or Valence. The station is served by approximately 6 to 8 trains every hour during Mondays to Saturdays, a little less on Sundays.
You can also reach the "St Clair les Roches" station, at only 1,5 km from Condrieu, if you want to visit the vineyard (1 to 3 trains every hour from Lyon or Valence)

By road

If you do prefer to drive, Vienne can be easily accessed via major roads and motorway A7:

  • Vienne-Genève: 1:40
  • Vienne-Marseille: 2:40
  •  Vienne-Paris: 4:30
